LOCAL STUDENT – APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Upon completion of the online application, please submit the following documents:

  1. 3 copies of recent passport size photos.
  2. Certified copy of national registration identity card – NRIC.
  3. Certified copies of examination results – SPM or STPM / transcripts / certificates / diplomas (wherever applicable).
  4. Copies of working testimonials (if applicable).
  5. Original medical report (for students enrolling for Culinary & Hospitality programmes only).

INTERNATIONAL STUDENT – APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Upon completion of the online application, please submit the following documents:

(i) Applicants may fax or e-mail his/her academic qualifications to Asian Tourism International College for initial application.

(ii) Once Asian Tourism International College receives the fax or email, a reply could be provided within 24-hours via fax or email. If the initial application is accepted, the applicant is required to submit the formal application to ATI College that includes:

  1.  3 copies of recent passport-size colour photographs.
  2. Copies of the secondary school results (i.e. certificates / paper qualifications / academic transcript). In addition to the actual transcript, please provide the translation in English if it is in other languages.
  3. 3 sets of photocopied passport (Identification page). Please ensure at least a one-year validity of your passport (if applicable).
  4. Hostel Reservation Form (if on-campus accommodation is needed).
  5. International Student Charge of RM1, 500 (in bank draft or international money order, etc) payable to “Asian Tourism International College Sdn. Bhd”. This charge is a one time payment only.

Note: Payment of tuition fees will be notified by ATI College to the applicant before the commencement of each semester.

Please courier all the above-mentioned documents to ATI College at least 8 weeks before the commencement of the programme (Note: Our available yearly intakes are in January, May, and October).

(iii) Upon the receipt of these documents, ATI College would release an Offer Letter to the applicant as soon as possible either through fax or courier service. At this time, the applicant is recognized as our student.

(iv) ATI College will be responsible to submit the relevant documents to the Malaysian Immigration Department for Student Visa application. This application will normally take about 4-6 weeks to process. The student need not do anything before the Student Visa application is approved.

(v) Once the Student Visa is approved by the Malaysian Immigration Department, ATI College shall fax as well as courier the Student Visa Approval Letter to the student together with the Hostel Reservation Form.

(vi) The student shall then proceed to the nearest Malaysian Embassy to obtain a Single Entry Visa (applicable to certain countries only) and shall arrange for his/her air ticket to Malaysia.

(vii) For any student who wishes to stay in our hostel, he/she needs to submit the Hostel Reservation Form to the College, together with RM300 as a hostel deposit to the College as soon as possible.

(viii) If a student requires our airport pickup service, please inform ATI College at least 5 working days in advance by email or telephone.

(xi) Once the student arrives ans start classes at ATI College, the student needs to hand in his/her passport to ATI College so the college may pass the student’s passport to the Immigration Office for endorsing the Student Pass in the passport. This process takes about 4-6 weeks.
