School of Hospitality

Pursuing a career opportunity in the hospitality industry is not only limited to the conventional entities such as the hotels and resorts. Many experienced hoteliers also venture into business entrepreneurship that includes budget hotel, bed and breakfast, restaurants and other food and beverage related outlets.

 

Our course includes management studies as well as practical skill competencies in the four major operational areas of front office, food and beverage, kitchen organisation and housekeeping departments. An industrial placement is also integrated into the module in order to enable students to gain some learning and working experience from an actual work place in a reputable hotel.

 

The School of Hospitality is the first school to be established in ATI College offering academic and skill programmes that are very much sought after by aspiring hoteliers. Students will be trained both in operational and managerial skills to prepare them to take up the challenges posed by the hospitality industry.

 

The hospitality management industry is one of the most exciting economic sectors that provides students with the opportunity for career development with multi-national corporations anywhere in the world. The rapid development in business hotels and coastal resorts in Malaysia is a phenomenon that promises career advancements as well as management exposure that encompasses many aspects.
